In this weeks show we are searching for the tiniest particles (Kalapas) which create the beginning of the crystallization of our experience. It is a Full Moon in Cancer tomorrow and it's no normal Full Moon. It activates the Pluto/Uranus square in the sky in a powerful way. We will explore this. In this installment of Exploring Astrology we will take a look at the Sagittarius New moON--the last New mOon before the Winter Solstice event of 2012. I will break apart the chart, talking about aspects to the New Moon and also other important Transits happening in the backdrop of this dark night. That is the first part of the show. This podcast is another upload of cosmic information in reflection of an Eclipse which has already occured. Recorded the same day of the Lunar Eclipse in Gemini, I ruminate on all of the energies in the sky and give many ideological, sonic, and artistic examples of what I feel is happening to us all. This show is a reflective one. Recorded the morning after the Total Solar Eclipse in Scorpio, it was my intention to have experienced the "Portal" first so that I could better relay all the neccassary informaiton to you once I had experienced it myself. I choose to name the show "Telos" because "purpose" or "the goal" of these podcasts have become slightly elusive for me as of late. In this installment of Exploring Astrology, I deeply explore the Taurus Full moON and all of its implications. In the second half of the show I read from my Saturn Return article, sharing my own experience of my first Return. I also share the amazingly talented music of Beth Preston who is releasing her new album shortly entitled "White Butterfly, Black Crow." There are many words to express the fusion of opposites: syzygy, mating, confluence, conjunction wedding, etc.....but "Coniunctio,' is the Latin alchemical word of choice for this show (even though I can hardly pronounce it!). A Libra New moON is upon us. We are being asked to marinate within these ideas of harmony, balance, and paradox. Within and without, we are being asked to be one with our surroundings. In this weeks Exploring Astrology podcast, we explore the idea of “Shadow boxing.” Too often, is the darkness ignored. I feel it is an absolutely necessary part of the seekers path. To ignore it, is to miss the point of the transformational process. In Astrology, Saturn, Pluto, and the Nodes relate to this shadowy realm.
